This information comes from the White House and it has my full support. As a health care provider in various capacities, I have repeatedly witnessed the abuses imposed on providers, the sick, and elderly by the health insurance industry. These atrocities are often outrageous, cheatful, and deceptive. Many people who have been paying high premiums for years receive denials, pitiful reimbursements, and flack when they get sick--a time when smoothness is especially needed. And with 47 million uninsured Americans due to its high cost, something ought to be done now. Everyone is human and deserves the right to health care... everyone from the members of Congress, to the unemployed, starving, street person. Nobody should be denied health care in an advanced, civilized country. A single-payer governmental system is still in order.
